All weekday SMART bus service is operating today, Monday, February 22. However, due to the severe weather and icy road conditions, most bus routes are experiencing delays of up to 30 minutes.
Passengers with scheduled Community Transit trips should contact their local Community Transit Operator to verify their trip. Passengers with scheduled connector trips should contact their local Connector Operator to verify their trip.
SMART will operate its regular scheduled service; however, passengers should be prepared for the expected time delays. If possible, take an earlier bus to ensure that you will arrive at your destination on time. Passengers can verify Weather Alert Information at SMART’s Web site at www.smartbus.org or by calling Customer Service at (866) 962-5515.
Safety is our first priority for our passengers and drivers. Passengers should dress appropriately and wear an extra layer to make the wait for the bus more comfortable. Remember, there will be delays. Stand at a safe place near the bus stop, away from the street. Do not board or exit the bus until it has come to a complete stop. Please be patient with our drivers as they do their best to make sure you arrive at your destination and drive safely through the winter storm.
