Due to the annual Detroit Free Press Marathon on Sunday October 20, 2024, Route 261 FAST Michigan will be on detour until 5:00 pm as follows:
Eastbound: Regular route to Rosa Parks Blvd, left Rosa Parks Blvd, right onto Fisher Service Drive, keep left onto I-75, right onto ‘Exit 51C South I-375 Downtown, right Lafayette Ave Exit, continue on Chrysler Dr, right Lafayette, left Randolph, left E. Fort (end, layover).
Westbound: From layover on E. Fort, left Brush, right Monroe, left Chrysler Dr, left onto I-375, right Exit South I-75 (Toledo), keep left to I-75 South, right ‘Exit 49A Rosa Parks Blvd, left 14th, right Michigan, regular route.
Please note the following stops will not be serviced while this detour is in effect: Michigan & Trumbull, NB Cass & Michigan, Woodward & Clifford, Washington & Lafayette, Washington & Fort, Larned & Griswold, Larned & Woodward, Larned & Brush, Jefferson & Beaubien, Jefferson & Spirit Plaza, Jefferson & Griswold.
